Dendritic Sandstone Necklace with Opal Fossilized Wood 7

This necklace is made with a Dendritic Sandstone cabochon. The dendritic patterns themselves ( the tree-like images) are not fossils, but mineral inclusions ( Manganese and/or Iron) that form in cracks and layers of rock. The mineral deposits are millions of years old. This necklace also features 2 pieces of Indonesian Opal Fossilized Wood (made by ancient volcanic forces), and a section of handmade sterling silver chain and clasp. 

Measures: Sterling silver chain is adjustable from 16"- 33"
